Event & Volunteer Shirts

Discuss your clothing order

Event clothing helps attendees recognise the people who can help them. It can also give a volunteer group a shared identity and create a useful keepsake. The strongest brief begins with the event's practical needs: who will wear the shirts, what they will be doing and when the garments need to be ready.

Exposure Apparel accepts international inquiries for custom event clothing. Send the destination and required date early so the garment, artwork approval and delivery plan can be checked together.

Separate roles before choosing colors

List the groups that need clothing: volunteers, organizers, activity leaders, registration staff or performers. Decide whether everyone should wear the same design or whether roles need different wording or colors. Keep that distinction in the size list from the beginning.

Consider how people will identify a helper from the front and back. A clear role word can serve a different purpose from a small event logo. Do not rely only on color if the shirt also needs to communicate a specific job. Send the intended wording and print positions with your artwork.

Match the shirt to the activity

For a general community event, compare the fit and fabric of the custom T-shirt range. An oversized merchandise tee and an active-session shirt are different choices even when they share the same design.

If the group will be moving throughout the day, explain the activity and ask about appropriate styles, including the Performance Sports Tee 150gsm. For a collared presentation look, consider polos. A product's name alone does not establish a safety or performance rating; include any specific requirement in the inquiry.

Prepare a design that serves the event

Confirm the event name, year, sponsor marks and role wording before submitting the final artwork. Use files you have permission to reproduce. Check spelling carefully, especially when an event title or date changes between editions.

Tell us which elements are shared and which vary by role. Include the intended print positions and approximate dimensions. Our artwork file guide explains the details to provide; the digital proof is where the proposed layout and wording should be checked before production approval.

Set a size-list cutoff

Choose the garment first, share its chart and ask wearers to confirm their size by an organizer-set date. Keep one current list rather than collecting changes in several messages. Record garment, color, size, quantity and role together so separate designs are counted correctly.

If you want spare shirts for late volunteers, list those separately and decide the size mix deliberately. Include them in the total before approving the order. The group-order guide provides a copyable structure.

Work backwards from the required date

Give the date the clothing needs to be in the organizer's hands, not just the public event date. Allow for your own sorting and distribution. Tell us if a physical sample is part of the decision, because sample production, delivery and approval would come before the bulk order.

Dates need a specific garment and delivery check. Read the delivery guide and sample and proof guide when planning.

Event shirt questions

Can each role have different wording?

Include each version and its quantity in the inquiry. We will assess the proposed personalisation and decoration with the selected garment.

Can we reorder after the event?

Keep the final garment and artwork references for a new availability and price check. A repeat order is a new inquiry, especially if quantities or designs change.
